Biomass Waste

Biomass waste comes from sources such as grass clippings, hedge trimmings, logging debris, wood from lumber mills, landscaping, and agricultural waste like nut shells and fruit pits. IWI’s Dual Reactor Systems can be connected to super-heated boilers and high-efficiency turbines to convert biomass waste into renewable energy. Benefits include:

  • Reduction in open-air burning that often leads to carbon monoxide smoke and other pollutants.
  • Reductions in greenhouse gas emissions.
  • Less risk of forest fires.
  • Energy diversification.
  • Less dependence on fossil fuels for electricity.
